This is official description
For those of you who enjoy creating your own maps in the editor, there are new added locations and artifacts which will allow for plenty of new strategies. You can create even more devious maps to share with your friends.
Heroes of Might and Magic 2: Price of Loyalty is an expansion pack for Heroes of Might and Magic 2: The Succession Wars. The pack adds a new set of campaigns, artifacts and map locations. It requires the original game in order to work. Not a very strong pack in terms of gameplay upgrades, Price of Loyalty does not add any new creatures, and will appeal mostly to those who like to play campaigns and absolute fans who want to experience every last artifact and map location. Necropolis town also has a new building to replace the non-existing Tavern.

Heroes of Might and Magic II is the sequel of this strategy game and while it retains the same play structure as the original, it brings a bundle of new elements in the game as well as richer graphics and more detailed character animations. Among its main innovations we can mention the existence of alternative scenarios in the campaigns: Once finalized a scenario, the player can choose between one or two alternatives in the line of argument. The decision means different scenarios and different tasks. Another important innovation is the possibility of improving the structures of the different castles, letting you recruit improved versions of creatures that will fight in the various maps. Like the first game, heroes rule over corresponding castles. There are also several new spells at the combat level. Another big change is the addition of upgradable monster dwellings (buildings developed in the castle where you recruit your monsters). In sum, this sequel will undoubtedly provide an engaging experience for strategy gamers entering the Heroes universe. |
